How to start

Getting into MU Online Season 22 on our server takes a few minutes: an account, the client, and a character. Here is the whole path, in order.

1. Create an account

Open the registration page, choose a username and password and enter a real e-mail address — it is the only way to recover a lost password. One account holds several characters, and the same login works on the website and in the game.

2. Download and install the client

Get the game client from the downloads page. Unpack it anywhere outside Program Files (for example C:\Games\MU), run the launcher once so it can update, and add the folder to your antivirus exceptions if the launcher is blocked — MU clients are frequently flagged by mistake.

3. Log in and create a character

Start the launcher, log in with your website account and pick a server. Every class from Dark Knight to Crusader is open from the start — the Season 22 page lists what the newest seasons added to each of them. If you are new to MU, Dark Knight, Dark Wizard and Elf are the easiest first characters.

4. First levels

• Lorencia, Noria and Devias for the first levels; Dungeon and Lost Tower after that. Use the map (TAB) and the move window (M) to travel.
• Turn on MU Helper (Home key) once you have a few skills — it hunts for you while you are away from the keyboard.
• Events run all day long; the schedule with live timers is on the home page Events tab. Blood Castle and Devil Square are the fastest experience early on.
• Keep your jewels: Bless, Soul, Life and Chaos are the currency of the server and the base of the custom jewel system.

5. Website features

Once logged in on the website you can check the rankings, reset or add stats from the account panel, vote for the server for rewards, open a support ticket, and read the server rules — worth two minutes before you start trading.
