Season 19 is the one old season you cannot read about and skip. Its level 1,200 gate stops every character, the card board it added is still the system you feed at the current cap, and its wing tier has never been replaced. The rest has become raw material for newer gear. Here is the 2023 – 2024 release sorted into what you clear, what you pass through, and what you can skip.
Why so little of this season is history yet
Three of its systems are still current, two of its item tiers are now the mandatory middle of a chain that runs two rungs higher, and only its maps and level milestones have aged. The background is thin: monsters carrying an unfamiliar power appeared across MU, matching them took power of the same order, and the answer was Extra Damage. Unis, one of the twelve Priests of Light, was sent to Devias to hand it out.
The gate: three one-minute duels at level 1,200

Find Unis in Devias (193, 12) at level 1,200 or above. She opens the Space of Qualification, where you can party up, and from there the Space of Trial. Three quests wait inside, each a duel against Unis while Burning Kethotum monsters pile onto you, on a sixty second timer. Each hands you a buff for that fight; clearing all three gives you the cards to keep.
| Extra Damage type | Targets per hit | Grade | Quest that grants it | Clear condition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Area | Up to 10 | Low | 3rd | Put Unis down within the minute |
| Bolt | Up to 2 | Mid | 2nd | Put Unis down within the minute |
| Nuke | 1 only | High | 1st | Put Unis down within the minute |
The third duel is the class change itself: 200 stat points, the 5th skill tree and all three Extra Ability Cards. Extra Damage fires off your 4th class enhancement skills and 5th class ability skills, and the Extra Damage Defence stat blocks it. None of it works until a card sits in the Ability Enhancement Core.
On high exp you reach 1,200 long before you can kill Unis inside a minute, so expect to come back. Grade is a trade, not a ranking: ten targets at low grade beats one at high grade.
The Giant, and the 300 Jewels of Creation it asks for

A fourth quest covers the mount. Hand Unis 300 Jewels of Creation to have the Giant built, then beat her inside a minute again while riding it. Which of the three you get is random. It rides with Ctrl+X and improves movement speed, but blocks a muun, a Guardian or a Fenrir, and on an elemental map a Guardian's elite resistance is worth more.
Ability Enhancement, and the five crystals a day that pace it

This is the system that makes Season 19 permanent. Ability Crystals are crafted into Ability Cards and slotted into the Ability Enhancement Core, and new slots keep opening every fifty levels. Cards level to 5, the Ability Card Book tracks what you own and what is equipped, and Part 2 added a skill card conversion: one crystal and 1,000,000 zen trade an unwanted skill card for another from your class list.
The ceiling is the daily cap, not the drop rate: 1 Ability Crystal and 4 bound Ability Crystals per character per day, from grounds of Burning Kethotum grade and above, meaning Burning Kethotum, the Kanturu Underground Facility, Ignis Volcano, Bloody Tarkan and Tormenta Island. Ability Enhancement Stones for levelling cards come from crafting crystals or converting one back. That economy is untouched: the newest ground added in a later season drops crystals on the same one-plus-four limit.

All four slot types are crafted at the Chaos Goblin in Noria (180, 103). The last column is advice rather than patch note text.
| Slot | Crystals to craft | Opens | What it accepts | Spend order |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Extra | None, it is quest loot | With the class change | Nuke, Bolt and Area, with no conditions attached | Free, do it immediately |
| [Option] | 5 | 5 slots at the class change, then 5 more every 50 levels | Blue, green and purple cards, Type 1 to Type 5, any card in any open slot of its type | First, and keep their levels even |
| [Elite] | 25 | Once the five option slots ahead of it are all filled | One Elite card, capped at the lowest level among those five option cards | Second, after the five are levelled |
| [Skill] | 50 | 1 slot at level 1,200, a 2nd at 1,300, a 3rd at 1,400 | Only a skill you have enhanced on the skill enhancement tree, and the same card may fill all three | Last, it is the expensive one |
Two traps: the Elite slot reads the lowest level among the five option cards in front of it, so one neglected card pins an expensive Elite card at level 1, and in the skill slots only skill attack power stacks when the same card fills all three.
5th wings: the Season 19 tier nothing has replaced

Armour tiers have moved twice since and wings have not, which makes a 5th wing the longest-lived purchase here. Two steps, and the first is where the money goes.
| Step | Rate | What you feed in | Everything else it consumes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5th Wing Relic | 100% | 4th wings at +13 carrying 4 options or more | Bless ×100, Soul ×100, Creation ×100, Chaos ×100, Golden Crest ×100, Uriel's Feather ×100, 15,000,000 zen |
| 5th wings +0 | 24%, or 34% holding a Luck Charm | The 5th Wing Relic | Highest Magic Stone ×1 or more, 20,000,000 zen |

Golden Crests and Uriel's Feathers drop at a low rate in elite zones, including grounds opened after this season, so the materials never went stale. The Highest Magic Stone for step two is crafted from any item at level 9 or above with 16 options or more and always returns 3. Budget several attempts at 24%, and note the class, options and Jewel of Life option are rolled on creation.
5th wings carry no Luck option at all, and a +0 wing is barely the same item as a +15 one.
| Option | +0 | +15 | What +15 adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Damage absorption | 43% (Dark Lord 37%) | 73% (Dark Lord 67%) | +30 points of absorption |
| Damage increase | 55% | 70% | +15 points |
| Defence | 900 | 2,737 | +1,837 |
| Attack power | 300 | 2,051 | +1,751 |
| Damage correction | 1 | 16 | +15, and this line is new to the tier |
Two random options join them: full mana or life recovery +7%, reflect +7%, ignore defence +7%, excellent or double damage rate +7%, attack speed +12, or +65 to a single stat.
Wing Cores are the other half, and the part people forget they own. A core comes from a blueprint, the Type 1 blueprint costing 50,000 Ruud in the Ruud shop, and attaches to a 5th wing; right-clicking it in the wing window takes it out again. Each core fits only a short list of wings and capes.
Apocalypse and Lightning are a pipeline now, not a destination

Season 19 added two mastery rungs, Apocalypse as the 9th and Lightning as the 10th, with Ancient Lightning as the 10th mastery armour. A +15 Lightning weapon was the end of the line then and is not now: later patches stacked two Legendary tiers on top, fed by finished Season 19 items. A maxed Lightning weapon is the main material for a Legendary weapon, Ancient Lightning set armour for Legendary armour. You still climb this ladder; the top rung is an ingredient.
All three upgrades run at the Chaos Goblin at 100%, keeping the item type with its Luck and Excellent options.

| Step on the ladder | Base item it eats | Special material | Jewels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brilliant weapon up to Apocalypse | Brilliant weapon at +11 with 16 options | Apocalypse Anvil, 100,000 Ruud from James in Elbeland | Bless ×30, Soul ×30, Chaos ×1, Creation ×1 |
| Apocalypse weapon up to Lightning | +11 weapon at 16 options, or a shield at 20 options | Lightning Anvil | Bless ×30, Soul ×30, Chaos ×1, Creation ×1 |
| Crimson Flame Apocalypse armour up to Ancient Lightning | Apocalypse set armour at +11 with 16 options | Soul of Lightning, 50,000 Ruud from James | Bless ×30, Soul ×30, Chaos ×1, Creation ×1 |
Apocalypse weapons are worn at level 1,400 and share one Excellent block: excellent damage rate +10%, attack or magic speed +7, life and mana worth (stat/8) per kill, +3 per 20 levels and a flat +85.
Grouped by weapon family rather than by class. Treat the requirement column as a Season 19 record: a later season stopped upgrade level from raising required stats and retuned every item at once.
| Class | Weapon | Requirements in Season 19 | Attack power | Speed |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Ancient Lightning armour needs level 1,500, and its four-set option was the largest in the game when it landed: mastery critical and excellent damage, ignore enemy defence +9%, mastery all stats, mastery base defence, critical and excellent damage rate +20% each, triple damage +14%, mastery max life, mastery damage decrease and mastery enhancement-skill damage. Defence is split by build below and sorted by the strongest piece.
| Class | Build | Defence on the four pieces |

| Magic Gladiator | Knight | 561 / 537 / 530 / 536 |

Two hunting grounds, read side by side

Elbe fell to Lemuria before Elbeland existed. The Elbeins fled to the island above Tormenta Island behind the Veil of Iruha, Lemuria flooded the energy source below with minions and sealed it, and the minions that fused with that energy are the spirits running the place now.

Kalutan sat closed and barren behind the eastern mountains until outsiders allied with the nomads and cleared the demon-filled Grey Tower, cracking the circle of Kardamahal underneath. It blew apart and the terrain twisted into the ground you walk on.
Tormenta Island has entry level 1,400 and stops penalising you at 1,450, reached from the move command window for 50,000 zen or on foot out of Elbeland 3 at (182, 195).
| Map | Monster level | Elite level | What it drops | The rule unique to it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tormenta Island | 850 | 860 | Excellent Lightning armour, Apocalypse Chaos Combination Charm fragments | Every monster here carries an extra 9.5% Shock chance |
| Twisted Kalutan | 900 | 910 | Excellent Lightning armour, Excellent socket necklaces | The first ground to put elemental critical damage rate resistance on its monsters |

Six monsters in one list. Only the Tormenta three had their behaviour described.
| Monster | Map | Level | Elite | How it fights |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Storm Guard | Tormenta Island | 850 | 860 | Wide arcing swings with a giant hammer |
| Storm Reaper | Tormenta Island | 850 | 860 | Fast twin-sword melee |
| Storm Fiend | Tormenta Island | 850 | 860 | Ranged lightning, one hand each, hitting an area |
| Twisted Krypta | Twisted Kalutan | 900 | 910 | Not described in the patch note |
| Twisted Gollock | Twisted Kalutan | 900 | 910 | Not described in the patch note |
| Twisted Kondra | Twisted Kalutan | 900 | 910 | Not described in the patch note |
Both got five elemental elite zones.
| Element | Tormenta Island | Twisted Kalutan |
|---|---|---|
| Fire | 148, 233 | 226, 54 |
| Water | 25, 198 | 224, 197 |
| Earth | 188, 11 | 122, 23 |
| Wind | 242, 158 | 25, 116 |
| Dark | 55, 15 | 88, 231 |
Inside one, the matching debuff pair lands with a 100% chance and only a Guardian's elite resistance softens it. Check before you travel: the Twisted Kalutan elite zone was removed when a later season opened its own, and that one went the same way when the next arrived. Only the newest map keeps an elite zone. Tormenta Island still earns the trip, because it drops Ability Crystals.
A Guardian and an earring you have since replaced twice

Both slots have moved on twice since, so what lasts is the upgrade pattern, not the items. The Leviathan is upgraded from the 5th Guardian at the Trainer in Lorencia (122, 110) with the Seal of Leviathan plus Bless ×20, Soul ×20, Chaos ×1, Creation ×1. The rate follows the base item: 100% / 90% / 80% / 70% / 60% from +15 down to +11, the shape every Guardian upgrade since has used. A Leviathan (Rare) has identical stats, so it is cosmetic.

| Where the option comes from | What it gives |
|---|---|
| Elite resistance, one of five | Fire, water, earth, wind or dark. This is the line that decides whether the Guardian beats a mount |
| Rolled, 1 to 3 of them | Elemental attack power +305, elemental defence +305, defence +6.0 per 20 levels, attack, wizardry or curse power +6.0 per 20 levels, with both per-level lines capped at level 1,100 |
| Fixed base | Movement speed, attack speed +7, defence +352 |

The Earring of Verdure is the 7th mastery earring, upgraded from a +11 to +15 Earring of Bond with the Verdure Crafting Mould, 25,000 Ruud from Priest James in Elbeland (32, 239), plus Bless ×20, Soul ×20, Chaos ×1, Creation ×1, at the usual 60% to 100% by base upgrade level.
| Side | Level | Attack, wizardry or curse power | Elemental defence | Rolled options, 1 to 3 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Right | 1,000 | 436–439 | 424 | Max mana +1,000, excellent damage rate +10%, critical damage rate +10%, AG recovery +10, attack speed +7 |
| Left | 950 | 396–399 | 366 | Max life +1,000, skill attack power +29, mastery attack or wizardry +127, mastery excellent damage +215, mastery critical damage +215 |
Wear both and you also collect ignore enemy defence 7%, all stats +10 and mastery damage +90. Nobody runs one side on purpose.
If you play Grow Lancer or Dark Lord, this was your season

Two classes were rebuilt here, and both reworks are the versions you play now. The Grow Lancer picked up the Combat Power (%) stat from the season before, carried on its socket, Absolute and mastery lances, plus two skills from James.
| Skill | What it does | What it costs you |
|---|---|---|
| Over Sting | An after-image thrust that reaches up to 6 targets inside a 6 tile radius and lands 3 damage instances on each. Hit fewer targets and every instance hits harder | Agility 1,470 and Magic Pin Mastery at 10P |
| Wild Breche | A lance swing that damages a wide area around you | Strength 1,020 and Breche Mastery at 10P |
Both take master-tree and enhancement-tree branches. Over Sting is the one to push: its enhancement adds 2 more damage instances, +1 tile of reach and +1 target, and carries freeze and bleed.

Eight Mastery Lancer Shields arrived with them, one per tier from Blood Angel to Brilliant, each with reflect 5%, defence success rate +10%, max life and mana, and an Obsidian effect bonus climbing from +30 to +195. With the Apocalypse Lancer Shield above them, the class finally had a shield line for every tier.

The Dark Lord renewal raised his attack speed ceiling to 290 and put Combat Power on thirteen weapons, but the pets changed how he plays. Four skills came with it, Lord Dignity, Spirit Blast, Battle Glory and Crown Force, plus nine Lord Shields and a rebalance across six skills. In a safe zone both pets drop to soul form beside him.
| Pet | Rate | Jewel used | What it caps at | Aura it brings |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Divine Spirit (Fire) | 45% | Jewel of Bless or Jewel of Soul | 100,000 damage at attack speed 200 | Divine Force |
| Divine Spirit (Ice) | 5% | Jewel of Creation | 100,000 damage at attack speed 200 | Divine Force |
| Divine Horse | 50% | Not stated in the patch note | 1,500 defence and 500 elemental defence | Divine Aura |
Both Divine Spirits come from a level 70 Dark Spirit plus 100,000,000 zen and the jewel above. The Ice version is the trap: same cap, nine times the failures.
Artifact grades, the level cap, and the rebalance you inherited

Artifacts gained a grade from 1 to 10, fixed at creation and printed in brackets beside the option, with the attack-speed option stopping at grade 5. The grade upgrade at the Chaos Goblin fuses two artifacts sharing type, option and grade into one of the grade above. Enhancement level is ignored on the main material, so a +9 grade 1 plus a +1 grade 1 returns a +9 grade 2, and failure destroys only the sub material. Creation itself was cut from 80% to 70%. Paired junk artifacts are worth keeping.
The level cap milestones, and the rewards that expired with them

The cap moved twice, 1,550 to 1,600 in Part 1 and 1,600 to 1,650 in Part 2, each with a Gremory Case on the usual 30-day claim and 14-day validity. Both numbers have been passed twice since, and the muuns below belonged to a promotion that closed.
| Muun | Paid at | Base ability |
|---|---|---|
| Dark Lord muun | Level 1,600 | Not stated in the patch note |
| Grow Lancer muun | Level 1,550 | Skill attack power +15 |
Twelve hunting grounds re-signed in one patch
Dropping the class change at 1,200 meant redrawing the top half of the curve: middle maps opened earlier, the newest ones later.
| Hunting ground | Entry after | Shift | Entry before | Penalty-free after | Penalty-free before |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Atlans (Abyss) 1 | 900 | −100 | 1,000 | 950 | 1,010 |
| Atlans (Abyss) 2 | 925 | −95 | 1,020 | 975 | 1,035 |
| Atlans (Abyss) 3 | 950 | −80 | 1,030 | 1,000 | 1,060 |
| Scorched Canyon | 1,000 | −50 | 1,050 | 1,050 | 1,080 |
| Crimson Icarus | 1,050 | −20 | 1,070 | 1,100 | 1,100 |
| Kubera Mine | 850 | none | 850 | 900 | 925 |
| Kubera Mine (Abandoned) | 850 | none | 850 | 925 | 970 |
| Arnil Temple | 1,100 | none | 1,100 | 1,150 | 1,130 |
| Ashen Aida | 1,150 | +20 | 1,130 | 1,200 | 1,160 |
| Burning Kethotum | 1,200 | +40 | 1,160 | 1,250 | 1,190 |
| Kanturu Underground Facility | 1,250 | +60 | 1,190 | 1,300 | 1,220 |
| Ignis Volcano | 1,300 | +80 | 1,220 | — | 1,250 |
Monster stats and experience were retuned to match. One easy-to-miss change from the same patch is still in force: Boss Battle Together was limited to the Gold channel.
What Season 19 content has since been superseded
- Lightning is no longer the top weapon tier. A finished one is the material for a Legendary weapon, and a tier above that exists too.
- Ancient Lightning armour feeds Legendary armour, so its four-set option is a stage, not an endpoint.
- Leviathan is the 6th of at least eight Guardians, and the Earring of Verdure has been outranked twice. The routines survived; the items did not.
- The Twisted Kalutan elite zone is gone, removed when a newer elite ground opened.
- Level 1,650 is not the cap, and the Gremory Case muuns were time-limited.
- The Apocalypse requirements are a snapshot, taken before required stats stopped scaling with upgrade level.
Not superseded: the level 1,200 gate, Extra Damage, the Ability Core and its daily cap, 5th wings and Wing Cores, Artifact grades, and both class reworks.
What to actually do about Season 19
- Treat 1,200 as a gear target, not a level target, and bring a party if your damage is short.
- Collect your five Ability Crystals every day once you can enter a Burning Kethotum grade map. The day you skip is gone.
- Level the five option cards evenly before crafting an Elite slot, or your 25-crystal card sits at the worst one's level.
- Start on 4th wings at +13 with four options early. The relic is the expensive half, and the 24% roll wants several goes.
- Push Apocalypse and Lightning on one weapon, because the tier above only accepts a finished item.
- Keep paired low-grade artifacts, and feed in the one whose upgrade level you want.
Our Season 22 server runs on the latest server files, opens on 30 October 2026, and has high exp, stats capped at 32,700, events and mini-bosses all day and a custom jewel system. Make an account and start banking crystals.
- Mandatory: the level 1,200 class change, three one-minute duels with Unis in Devias, for 200 stat points and the Extra Damage cards.
- The long game: the Ability Core, capped at 1 plus 4 bound crystals per character per day.
- Still the top tier: 5th wings, crafted at 24% from a relic, with Wing Cores you can detach at will.
- Now a pipeline: Apocalypse 9th and Lightning 10th gear feeds the newer Legendary tiers.
- Aged: the 1,650 cap, the Leviathan, the Earring of Verdure, and the Twisted Kalutan elite zone.
- Still current: the Grow Lancer and Dark Lord reworks are the versions you play now.
