Most of Season 7 is already in front of you: the inventory you click through, the trade box you wait on, the Pentagram slot you fill. This guide reads the 2012 patch from a Season 22 seat. What still matters, what later seasons buried, and what is worth a detour.
What Season 7 was, in short
Season 7 is the eX700 client line, and the patch people mean by it is eX701: craftable wings at level 290, ten craftable level 400 weapons on the socket system, a rebuilt Arca War entry process and a broad interface pass. No new map and no new class, which is part of why so much of it survived. Interface decisions are the hardest to undo.
The part of Season 7 you use every session
Start here. This is the only section that applies at every level, because Season 7’s interface pass is the client you are looking at.

The character window went back to the classic layout with two habits that never left. The Level line adds normal and master level together, so 400 with master level 200 reads 600. The name sits on top, tinted by karma and PK state. Dark Lord Command sits at the foot of the stat block.
| Normal | Master | Line reads |
|---|---|---|
| 400 | 200 | 600 |

The structural change mattered more. Worn equipment moved inside the inventory, the slots were rearranged, and a Pentagram slot was cut in beside them. Season 7 added that slot before there was much to put in it, and every elemental setup you build today hangs off it.

Trading lost its Confirm button. Both sides press Trade, a yellow Waiting for trade approval box appears in both halves, and if any item in the window changes, approval drops and you both press Trade again. Zen works the same way. That is the anti-swap guard still protecting your trades today.

Chat was softened in the same patch. Conversation text went lighter and whispers became light pink, which is the only reason you can find one in a busy Lorencia window.
Personal Store prices are colour-banded by size, and Season 7 pushed the top of the scale up a step for nine-figure prices. Red now means hundreds of millions, not tens.
| Colour | Zen shown in a Personal Store |
|---|---|
| Red | 100,000,000 – 999,999,999, added here |
| Orange | 10,000,000 – 99,999,999, was red |
| Yellow | 1,000,000 – 9,999,999 |
| Green | 100,000 – 999,999 |
| White | 1 – 99,999 |
Where the rest of it lands in your climb
Everything else sits behind a level gate, and high experience changes when you meet it. Our server runs Season 22 on the latest files with max stats of 32,700, so you pass 290 and 400 on the way to your real build. The question is never whether you can reach something, but whether it still upgrades you.
| Season 7 feature | What gates it | How it feels on a high exp server |
|---|---|---|
| Interface changes | Nothing | Live from your first login |
| Monster wings | Level 290 and a second level wing to feed in | A short detour that buys a real upgrade for a while |
| Level 400 socket weapons | The 3rd class change | Reachable fast, but competing with later gear |
| Arca War | A guild, and your server running the event | Guild content, not something you solo |
If you are starting from nothing, the ordering advice in our Season 22 overview is worth more than any single item below.
Before you craft anything: the Noria rules
Both crafts run through one NPC under one set of rules, and misreading them is expensive.

You work at the Chaos Goblin in Noria under Normal combination, and the Lucky Charm is allowed on both recipes. Failure returns nothing: the whole window is destroyed, socket item included.
| Recipe | What you place in the window | Zen at most | Rate at best |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monster wing | One wing material, one second level wing, a Jewel of Creation and a Jewel of Chaos | 6,000,000 | 60% |
| Socket weapon | A socket equipment item at +7 or higher with three options of +4 or higher, plus the combination note and the three materials it names | 1,000,000 | 40% |
The socket item may have empty sockets as long as it is +7 with three +4 options, so you need not break up what you are wearing. Nothing here stacks, and everything can be warehoused or traded, so you can farm on one character and craft on another.
| Item | Stacks | Drops | Sells to NPC | Personal store | Warehouse | Trade |

Monster wings at level 290

No monster wing is a drop. You farm one material from one monster family, hand it in with a second level wing, and the result carries one of the strong options normally seen only on second and third level wings. All four need level 290, and each is locked to a short class list.
| Wing | Classes that can wear it | Damage increase | Damage absorb | Defence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wings of Chaos | Blade Knight, Magic Gladiator | 33% | 30% | 46 |
| Wings of Magic | Soul Master, Magic Gladiator, Bloody Summoner | 35% | 29% | 37 |
| Wings of Life | Muse Elf | 35% | 29% | 37 |
| Cloak of Death | Dark Lord, Rage Fighter | 21% | 13% | 27 |
Those are base figures. All four wings share the same formulas, and the level requirement scales with the stats, so a heavily upgraded monster wing is not a level 290 item at all.
| What scales | How it scales |
|---|---|
| Damage absorb | base % plus (wing level × 2) |
| Damage increase | base % plus (wing level × 1) |
| Defence | base defence plus (wing level × 3), a further +4 to +9 once you are in the +10 to +15 range |
| Required level | 290 plus (wing level × 4) |
Run that last line before you spend jewels. A +15 monster wing asks for level 350, so the upgrade plan and the levelling plan are one plan.
What the option slots are worth
A monster wing carries three option slots, and only one of them is yours to fix.
| Slot | What ends up in it |
|---|---|
| (A) | One of the two stat options the wing type allows. If nothing rolled when the wing was made, a Jewel of Life adds it afterwards, exactly as on an ordinary wing, so a blank (A) is a fixable problem. |
| (B) | Luck, attached at random or not at all. |
| (C) | Nothing, a 3% chance to ignore the target's defence when your hit lands, or a 5% chance to refill your HP when you are hit. |
Slot (C) decides whether a wing is worth keeping and is the one you cannot influence. What slot (A) can hold depends on the wing.
| Option (A) available | Wings of Chaos | Wings of Magic | Wings of Life | Cloak of Death |

Which map you have to live on

Each material comes from a short monster list on one map, so a particular wing means parking somewhere particular. With events and mini-bosses running all day you will have company, so pick the map your class needs rather than the quiet one.
| Material | Builds | Map | Held by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hellmaine's Leather | Wings of Chaos | Aida | Hellmaine, Witch Queen, Blue Golem |
| Flame of the Dark Phoenix | Wings of Magic | Icarus | Dark Phoenix, Giant Drakan, Phantom Knight |
| Soul of the Death Beam Knight | Wings of Life | Tarkan | Death Beam Knight, Beam Knight, Tantallos |
| Death King's Bone | Cloak of Death | Lost Tower floor 7 | Death King, Death Gorgon, Death Knight |
Spawn moves you will still notice
Guarding something valuable got these monsters moved, and the moves stuck. The Death King is the one to know: it left Lorencia for Lost Tower with a rewritten drop table and far higher stats, so low-level characters no longer walk into it. Two spawns were doubled.
| Monster | Where it is now | Where it used to be |
|---|---|---|
| Death King | Lost Tower (17, 130) | Lorencia (182, 83) |
| Death Beam Knight | Tarkan (142, 202) and (112, 227), two units | Tarkan (161, 225), one unit |
| Dark Phoenix | Icarus (34, 238) and (53, 161), two units | Icarus (34, 238), one unit |
| Hellmaine | Aida (111, 140), (85, 90) and (149, 74) | Aida (108, 147), (112, 47) and (123, 103) |
The level 400 socket weapons, and whether to chase them

Ten weapons, none obtainable by hunting. They are wearable from the 3rd class change and the only route to one is to build it. Ignore the stats column: with max stats of 32,700, Str 833 and Agi 243 is noise. The real price is the +7 socket item the recipe eats.
| Weapon | Class | Damage | Attack speed | Stats needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sonic Blade | Blade Master | 109 ~ 116 | 35 | Str 239, Agi 744 |
| Cyclone Sword | Blade Master | 129 ~ 144 | 40 | Str 833, Agi 243 |
| Magma Spear | Blade Master | 135 ~ 236 | 35 | Str 239, Agi 744 |
| Horn of Steel | Blade Master | 177 ~ 206 | 25 | Str 833, Agi 243 |
| Blast Break | Blade Master, Duel Master | 163 ~ 216 | 30 | Str 833, Agi 243 |
| Angelic Bow | High Elf | 179 ~ 202 | 45 | Str 154, Agi 882 |
| Devil Cross Crossbow | High Elf | 167 ~ 218 | 40 | Str 154, Agi 882 |
| Spite Staff | Soul Master, Duel Master | magic power 68% | 25 | Str 234, Agi 69 |
| Asura | Duel Master | 115 ~ 140 / magic 56% | 45 | Str 404, Agi 332, Ene 115 |
| Thunder Bolt | Lord Emperor | 127 ~ 154 / magic 38% | 40 | Str 516, Agi 118 |
The names come from the lore. The Sonic Blade, Cyclone Sword and Thunder Bolt belong to the Wind Evil-Spirit King. The Angelic Bow was forged from archangels who held out against Kundun and the Devil Cross Crossbow from the ones who gave in; Asura came from Lugard and Sechnum clashing in the 1st Demon War.
Pick the recipe before you farm
Every recipe starts with a Combination Note, and notes and materials both drop from every monster on Raklion. This is a one-map project, not a scavenger hunt. Each note wants two of a lower tier material and one of a higher tier one.
| Weapon | Note | Lower tier (× 2) | Higher tier (× 1) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sonic Blade | Sonic | Ice Walker's Mane | Dark Iron Knight's Sword |
| Cyclone Sword | Cyclone | Mammoth's Fur Clump | Dark Mammoth's Horn |
| Magma Spear | Magma | Coolutin's Poison | Dark Mammoth's Horn |
| Horn of Steel | Horn | Giant's Ice Fragment | Dark Giant's Axe |
| Blast Break | Blast | Giant's Ice Fragment | Dark Iron Knight's Sword |
| Angelic Bow | Angelic | Ice Walker's Mane | Dark Mammoth's Horn |
| Devil Cross Crossbow | Devil Cross | Iron Knight's Heart | Dark Coolutin's Blood |
| Spite Staff | Spite | Iron Knight's Heart | Dark Giant's Axe |
| Asura | Asura | Iron Knight's Heart | Dark Iron Knight's Sword |
| Thunder Bolt | Thunder | Mammoth's Fur Clump | Dark Coolutin's Blood |

Ordinary monsters carry the cheap half of every recipe and the Dark variants carry the expensive half, so your bottleneck is always a Dark drop. Work out which one you need instead of clearing the map at random.
| Material | Dropped by | Tier |
|---|---|---|
| Iron Knight's Heart | Iron Knight | Lower |
| Giant's Ice Fragment | Ice Giant | Lower |
| Ice Walker's Mane | Ice Walker | Lower |
| Mammoth's Fur Clump | Giant Mammoth | Lower |
| Coolutin's Poison | Coolutin | Lower |
| Dark Iron Knight's Sword | Dark Iron Knight | Higher |
| Dark Giant's Axe | Dark Giant | Higher |
| Dark Mammoth's Horn | Dark Mammoth | Higher |
| Dark Coolutin's Blood | Dark Coolutin | Higher |
Arca War: where today's registration rules come from
Season 7 replaced the guild sign-up sheet with a bidding ladder, and that is the part of Arca War that lasted. Whether the event runs at all is a server decision, so treat this as the rules you will meet if it does.

There is no form. You register Signs of Lord with Sir Lesnar and the registration is the application. Settle inside your guild who does it.
| Rule | How it works |
|---|---|
| Who may register | Guild Master, Assistant Guild Master or Battle Master, nobody below that |
| How you apply | Registering Signs of Lord is the application; there is nothing else to submit |
| Batch size | Up to 255 Signs of Lord in a single registration |
| What sets your rank | How many Signs of Lord you registered before the war begins |
| Tie-break | Whichever guild registered earliest takes the place |
| Cut-off | The top 6 guilds only |

The same NPC shows the standings, per server: the top 6 guilds with name and registered count in at most ten rows, your own guild pinned underneath. Outside the top 100 it prints 100. Winning the ladder is not enough. Each of the six must then register an Arca War Guild Master and its members inside the registration window or drop out.

Once the war starts, a progress panel reports the battlefield instead of leaving you to guess. It shows only to registered members on the Acheron map and folds away behind a Hide / Show button. The start message reaches every registered member; progress messages go only to those registered to take part.

| Panel | What it reports | Updates |
|---|---|---|
| Battlefield Status, obelisks | Each obelisk and the state it is in: Unoccupied, Capturing or Occupied | Live |
| Battlefield Status, guild master | The guild master's name, the hunting ground they are standing in and their coordinates | Every 10 seconds |
| Guild Member Status | Name, rank and coordinates, sorted Guild Master then Assistant Guild Master then Battle Master then Guild Member, up to 20 rows in a scroll list | Every 10 seconds |
The obelisk states are the capture sequence written down. Unoccupied means nobody holds it, Capturing means someone is on the seals, Occupied means every seal was stepped on and the tower is taken. The last two are blue for your guild and red for anyone else.
What later seasons replaced
Being straight about this beats pretending a 2012 patch is current.
- Monster wings were a ceiling then and a stepping stone now. Wing tiers kept climbing, so craft one if it beats what you wear today.
- The 290 and 400 gates were the point in 2012. Under high experience they are speed bumps; gear and jewels are the constraint.
- A Jewel of Life still fixes a blank (A) option, but our server runs a custom jewel system, so check how jewels are obtained here.
- The Pentagram slot Season 7 added empty is now one of the slots you think hardest about.
- Nothing in the interface pass was undone. The combined level line, the equipment panel, the trade guard and the Zen bands are all live.
What to do about Season 7
Do not farm a wing material before you hold the second level wing and both jewels. The combination destroys the whole window at a 60% ceiling, and losing the material with the wing is how people repeat a week of farming.
If you want a socket weapon, choose the weapon first. Your bottleneck is one specific Dark drop, so the question is which of the four your recipe names.
Keep a +7 socket item with three +4 options aside from your working gear and let that be the one the recipe eats. Empty sockets are accepted. Feeding in a filled item you were using is the most expensive error here.
The rest asks nothing of you, because it is the interface. If you are coming in fresh, registration takes a minute; our Season 22 server opens on 30 October 2026 on the latest server files, with events and mini-bosses all day. Season 8 picks up from here.
- The lasting part is the interface: equipment inside the inventory, the Pentagram slot, the combined level line, the trade guard.
- Monster wings need level 290; the craft takes a material, a second level wing and two jewels at a 60% ceiling.
- Stats and the level requirement both scale with upgrade level, so a +15 wing wants level 350.
- Ten level 400 socket weapons, none of them drops; each recipe eats a +7 socket item.
- Raklion supplies every note and material, and the Dark monster variants are the bottleneck.
- Arca War entry is a Signs of Lord ladder at Sir Lesnar, top 6 guilds only.
