Season 6 is the version most private servers still run. Part 1 adds the Rage Fighter, the fallen kingdom of Kalutan and the Vega and Chamer set items; Part 2 rebuilds the master skill system from four trees into three, adds daily and weekly quests, the Eternal Wing and Phoenix Soul sets, and the expanded inventory and warehouse that every later season assumes you have.

The Rage Fighter

The Rage Fighter, the new Mu Online Season 6 class
The Rage Fighter — a martial artist built around stamina.

The Rage Fighter is a close-quarters martial artist with a body type unlike any other character. He fights at melee range the way a Dark Knight or a knight-build Magic Gladiator does, but his damage comes as much from weakening the enemy as from hitting it, and he carries PvP skills built to frighten his opponent.

His story is Kalutan's. The kingdom has already fallen; he is an inheritor of the martial art handed down by the descendants of Kalutan's royal knight order. His art runs on stamina (HP) — overwhelming endurance and charging attacks that plant fear in the enemy, and fear in turn drops the enemy's stats. On top of that he detonates the power of a divine beast from inside his own body, which reaches enemies at range too.

How he is meant to be played

StyleWhat the stat spread does
Solo — Vitality buildHeavy damage to a single enemy while its debuffs stack on it, so hunting goes fast
Solo — Energy buildDamages many enemies at once and strengthens his own stats through buffs
Party — Energy buildBuffs that raise the party's Defence Success Rate and Vitality, for stable group play
PvP — Energy buildRaises divine-beast attack power and skill success rate, so Dragon Slasher can neutralise the enemy's SD and hit HP directly
Event mapsBuffs plus heavy attack skills clear them quickly
Castle SiegeAlly buffs plus PvP skills that can neutralise the enemy's battle commander or guild master

Rage Fighter gear

Rage Fighter exclusive weapons and armour in Mu Online Season 6
Three glove-type weapons and three armour lines, all Kalutan relics.

His weapons are gloves and claws. The Sacred Glove is processed red sheep hide that keeps the recoil off the wearer; the Holy Storm Claw is shaped after the divine beast White Tiger and alloys Sinide, a wind-attribute metal, with Grobo, the hardest metal there is; the Piercing Blade Glove is a restored relic from the ruins of Kalutan, bladed in Grobo so it attacks and defends at once.

He also uses the ordinary shared gear — Kris, Short Sword, Small Axe, Hand Axe, Tomahawk, Mace, Morning Star, Flail, Great Hammer and Crystal Morning Star, plus Leather, Scale, Brass and Plate armour.

The Cape of Fighter and Cape of Overrule for the Rage Fighter
Two capes: one from level 180, one from level 400.
CapeRequired levelDefenceDamage increaseDamage absorb
Cape of Fighter180 + (wing level × 4)15 + (level × 2)20 + (level × 2)10 + (level × 2)
Cape of Overrule40045 + (level × 4)39 + (level × 2)39 + (level × 2)

Both gain an extra defence bonus between +10 and +15 — +4 to +9 on the Cape of Fighter and +5 to +10 on the Cape of Overrule. The Cape of Fighter is made at the Chaos Goblin's Normal Combination and may roll one of three options: Increase Life (50 + level × 5), Increase Mana (50 + level × 5), or a 3% chance to ignore enemy defence. The Cape of Overrule rolls one of four, each at 5%: an attack that ignores enemy defence, reflecting the enemy's attack power, full Life recovery, or full Mana recovery. In both cases the roll can also come out empty.

Kalutan — the fallen kingdom

The Kalutan 1 and Kalutan 2 maps added in Mu Online Season 6
Kalutan 1 holds the stronghold; Kalutan 2 is open field.

Kalutan is split in two. Kalutan 1 holds the stronghold — a village with a General Goods Merchant, a Weapons Merchant and three Warehouse Keepers. Kalutan 2 is field only. Walking in always puts you in Kalutan 1; both areas can also be reached with the move command window for 13,000 Zen.

On entry level the original notice prints “level 1600 or above” for walking in and “level 170 or above” when using the move command window. The first figure is almost certainly a typo for 160 — it is reproduced here as printed.

The eight Kalutan monsters added in Mu Online Season 6
Eight monsters, from the level 99 Venom Ring Scorpion to the level 120 Narcondra.

Narcondra12096,000750815640425

Crypta and Cryptos are insects of Kalutan's southern region that swarm in colonies tens of thousands strong; Cryptos carries venom said to kill even a mermaid. Orcus and Gollock are demons that came out of Kardamahal and loiter around the magic circle sealing it, attacking anything that comes near. Condra is a stone spirit formed over thousands of years from Kalutan's own energy, with one thought only — protect Kalutan — and Narcondra is its stronger form.

The master skill renewal

The rebuilt master skill window in Mu Online Season 6 Part 2
The Blade Master window: Protection, Valor and Rage.

Part 2 rebuilt the master skill system. The old four trees became three, some skills were deleted and others added, and every class window now follows the same shape: a shared defensive tree on the left, an active-skill enhancement tree in the middle, and offensive passives plus buffs on the right.

Only a handful of concrete numbers were published: Rageful Blow Mastery cuts the durability loss of one worn armour piece by 10%, Multi-Shot Mastery adds +1 arrow, the Wind-attribute Book Mastery stuns for 3 seconds, the Lightning-attribute Book Mastery knocks back 2 tiles, and the One-handed Sword Strengthener applies 50% per sword when dual-wielding. The announcement itself warned that values and structure could still change.

Weekly Hero quests

A second quest line runs across the four event maps and repeats. Six tiers cover the whole level range up to master level, and each tier asks for the same four things: kills in Chaos Castle, a Blood Castle clear, a Devil Square clear and a win in Illusion Temple.
